Eric had been starting to suffer from more pain as of late. Sure it more than likely had to do with the fact that he had been resisting to hunt for food and the other beasts that were part of him were unhappy about it, but he had done so before and the constant pain wasn't like this. It trobbed all along his spine and in his head when usually it focused on his chest and skull. He had made himself leave the comforts of hiding in his home so as to seek out a store that could possibly have something to help him. There was no way he was going to go to a doctor for this as they reminded him too much of the men that made him a monster, so self medication was the only route to go in his mind.
Reletively clean sneakers shuffled along the ground as pained blue-grey eyes searched for some sort of drug store. He had his hands in his pockets and was clearly trying to keep to himself as his body trembled the slightest touch with being around so many people. He had a feeling he was in more need of a directory so as to find the store he needed.Outfit

Damn it was cold out today. The temperature must have dropped at least by twenty degrees or more since yesterday. He took a step outside when he woke up and was surprised, going back into his apartment and turned the heater up. Kailah was still sleeping in her bedroom, but woke up once the air conditioning system came on. She whimpered and wanted her dad, who immediately picked her up and held her in his arms. How about we go to the shopping center, have a daddy and daughter day. He said to Kailah who just patted his cheek. He gave Kailah a bath, making sure she stayed warm and wrapped her in her wolf ear bath towel. Her outfit for the day would be simple enough. He put on some converses and her brown jacket that had wolf ears and even put on some mittens for her hands. He decided to just wash his hair, taking a shower later when he could drop her off at Amanda's house later on today. Once he was cleaned and dress, he picked her up and got the stroller out before just taking a walk to the shopping center. Kailah fell asleep during the walk there, barely even opening her eyes at the sounds of people walking and talking around and by her. He stopped though once he smelt something oddly familiar. It was a council member and the one that was a super kid. The super kids weren't exactly trusted among the other species, even the human council member seem to not trust him. Jack was biased, he didn't really care to trust the guy or not, as long as he didn't try anything funny to the werewolves of Somber Falls or personally to him then he didn't mind the kid being there. He pushed through the ground, finally spotting him and cocked an eyebrow at how he was acting. The beast inside the boy was restless which only made the wolf in him restless now. He had better control and it didn't even show in his face or body, not like it did with Eric. You should just give it what it wants you know. He told Eric.

Eric had still been trying to find a directory of sorts when someone was clearly talking to him. His body gave a visible jolt before looking to see it was the council member for the werewolves. He saw there was the wolf's daughter in the stroller but made his eyes focus on Jack. He didn't like that they knew exactly what could cause his pain but then again everyone, including himself, thought he wasn't suited to be council member.
"It's not hunger pains it's....different this time...."
His eyes had averted to the ground as means of giving himself more of the mind to focus on pushing the agressive beasts he was part of into a more stable state. His body posture looked to close in as he rubbed at his elbow some, his body trembling from pain more so than the animals he was part of. He didn't like pain and it was really starting to get to him, the urge to find pain killers stronger.

Kailah had woken up now and was staring at Eric with curious, dark eyes. Jack had his attention on Eric as well, wondering if that beast inside of him would try to unleash himself. It was safe to say that as of right now, he didn't trust Eric, but that was because of this little incident that was going on right now.
Humans who passed by took a noticed to and wondered if Eric was on drugs or something. Jack finally got closer and gripped Eric by the arm and didn't even bother loosening up his grip on the boys arm till he took him to a drug store that was just down the block from here.
Once they were there, he let Eric in first. Get what you need, you were starting to cause a scene back there. He said.

Eric had noticed that the little girl had woken up and locked eyes with the child, a weak looking smile appearing on his face. He gave a fierce look when he was grabbed and taken to the drug store, stopping the look when he realized it was Jack trying to be helpful. He could tell that the wolf didn't like him but gave a nod at the words before talking rather awkwardly with one of the clerks at the counter. He seemed to struggle with explaining where the focus of his pain was but he was able to get it across to them and bought exactly what he could use. Sure they had said he should go to a doctor but he just nodded so as to seem polite as his guardian had taught him. He was still trembling but he wasn't standing as if afraid. He looked back to jack, noticing there was still unpleasant feelings between them.
"Th-Thank you...but you know nothing will make my trembling go away."
He took a step outside the store and took a small dose of the medicine he had bought, hoping the painkillers would kick in quickly. He looked back to Jack's daughter, a curious but hesitant expression on his face.
"How old is she?"
He more than likely wouldn't get a real answer but Eric wasn't used to being around kids. A smile crossed his lips again but one could tell it was still a rather foreign expression for him. He wanted to play nice with the council members, the chimera just wished they would already accept them.

It wasn't that Jack disliked the kid, but at the moment he didn't trust the beast inside the boy. The chermil clearly wanted out and usually things like that will try anything in its power to make his presence known. He watched as Eric got some pain killers and walked out the store with him.
Kailah was busy staring at Eric as well, her eyes were filled with innocent curiousity at the super kid. Better than nothing. He commented and reached around the stroller to pull Kailah out and hold her.
A few months old. He told Eric with a smile as Kailah smiled back at Eric and patted her fathers cheek.

Eric silently agreed that the medicine was better than nothing but his chimera condition was irreversible as far as his research had shown. His awkward smile brightened some as he leaned on the nearby wall, his trembling lessening some but still clearly there. Something in him had a soft spot for tiny kids he couldn't quite understand but had a feeling it had to deal with how he lacked much of a tiny childhood.
"she's cute. Seems l-like a....a daddy's girl. That's the term isn't it?"
Eric was smart in a sense of nature and survival in woodland, common terms and casual conversation on the other hand was a struggle for him.

Kailah just looked at Eric, smiling back at him before looking at her father and giggled. He just smiled at her reactions and gently adjusted her so she was pressed against his ribs more. Yeah alot of people say that.....shes alot smarter than most babies....but she is growing alot faster than human infants. He added.
Kailah had already began to grow some teeth, hence why her stuff cougar that Amanda had bought her back at the zoo was now missing its ear from her chewing on it. Kailah never went as far to bite him, Amanda or anyone else, but her stuff animals were paying the price.
So, if it wasn't hunger that was making you react that way, then what was it? He asked as Kailah started to play with his hair.

Eric looked at Jack slightly confused in his statement of her growing faster than most human infants. He had to keep remembering that wolves had different development patterns than humans. The chimera had thought he would still grow like most humans but lately he had been noticing that his lifespan was definitely changed as was how he aged. He thought about it for a moment but was drawn back to the present conversation at the question on the pain. He played with the collar he had on his wrist, the tag with his name on it clicking slightly as he spoke.
"I'm not exactly sure...usually the p-pain is in my chest and head...but this pain is my spine...I haven't had I-intense pain there in years..."
The only times his spine had truly been in a pain relatively close to what he was currently experiencing was after he had been merged with the snake and during the punishment sessions of painful needles and whips. He shook the thought away so as to not dwell on it and anger the beasts in him or tremble more.

He put Kailah back into her stroller, hearing Kailah whimper in protest and started to cry. Alright, alright. He said, picking the baby up and soothed her crying. Kailah was spoiled, she always got what she wanted and knew that she would be a terror when she got older.
Kailah was looking at Eric again, smiling at him and actually reached out for him. Jack held her closer, staring at Eric for a moment and turned Kailah's attention back to him. Amanda would kill him if he even considered handing their infant daughter to a complete stranger and a super kid none the less.
Does it mean something.... He said, cocking an eyebrow.

Eric watched the little girl get fussy when Jack tried to put her into the stroller again, a soft and out of place chuckle coming from him as the child was clearly spoiled. The chimera wasn't exactly sure how to respond to the infant smiling and reaching out as if to touch him. He was almost tempted to reach his hand to her little one but watched as Jack pulled her closer and made to catch her attention again. He didn't take it too bad but it just made him think he was diseased and not just a little different. He had a dog merged with him so that had to count as something okay didn't it? He could tell that jack was unsure of the spine pain as he questioned it.
"W-well it could just be s-some old injuries flaring up....I'm still trying to understand wh-what I am after all."
He had been trying to find as much as he could on alchemy that was connected to the creation of creatures like him but he really had been fruitless in his searches. He had tried to speak with witches in the matter but alchemy was a black craft to them as it was a synthetic magic humans created to be like witches. He was an abomination but at the same time just wanted to be human again.

Kailah must have been acting this way because Erica was combined with a canine. Although wolves were not dogs in anyway shape or form, they were of the canine family and Kailah must have sense that. She always seem to favor dogs and wolves more than anything, but also had a weird liking for cats.
Well its clear to me that you have many different species combined with you.....and from what I can smell it seems like your combination wasn't a painless or normal one. He added softly.
He looked at his daughter, kissing her cheek and smiled at her. It was so clear that he adorned her, thought of the world of her and he did. Kailah yawned, laying her head down on her fathers shoulder and closed her eyes. Jack finally laid her down in the stroller, pulling a blanket over her to keep her warm. Have you tried going to witches about this little problem? He asked.

Eric looked to tremble slightly worse for a moment but it lessened again as the painkillers were starting to kick in. The pain was no where near gone but it had subsided to a level that was much more tolerable. He didn't think he was created of too many creatures, but he could guess the alchemy stone he was fused with as well had a life of its own too. He gave a rather unhappy expression as he ran a hand through his hair, blue-grey eyes looking to the ground.
"All th-the ones I've tried to ask either try killing me or chase me away....alchemy is synthetic magic made by h-humans so witches hate any of I-it's products...."
Eric had considered asking the witch on the council but in all honesty she scared him with how she seemed less same than himself and he had three minds in a sense.

The thought of maybe recommending Amanda had crossed his mind, but the woman would probably have run the kid off as well. She wasn't the nicest person anymore and barely liked anyone except for Kailah and on a good day she tend to be nice to him but only because he was her baby daddy and it was important if they got along for Kailah's sake.
I do know of one witch but the woman would more likely run you off as well...the only one she is even nice to twenty-four seven is this little bugger right here. He said, bouncing Kailah some.
He wondered how Eric even became a council member, he certainly wasn't council member material to him and seem alittle young and had enough to deal with one his place with this whole chimera thing.

Eric gave a confused stare for a moment as Jack talked but gave a weak smile at the end. In all honesty Eric could understand the hate for alchemy but he didn't quite get why no one was willing to help him get better or even become human again. He gave a shaky sigh as he kept his hands in his pockets. Helmet his mind wonder slightly as he spoke.
"I-I think I'll try asking Dahlia even though she r-r-really scares me....I just d-don't get why Roger l-left it to me to be on council..."
Blue Greys looked at Jack's dark one, his constant pain and even confusion swirling in them. Humanity was what he wanted but in a very slow manner be was doing to terms with being a monster, so I guess why not fight for them to have some respect too? He looked to his pockets and pulled what seemed like a simple snack bar, knowing settling his hunger some would help. He would only eat in small doses though, making his skeletal form seem to be the product of an eating disorder and not Alchemy. The beasts that were part of him would rather him track a deer or something down but Eric wasn't going to sink that'll a just yet.
